First off,the Dewalt crown stops are brilliant,I would highly recommend them to anyone cutting crown, etc. My complaint is that I was unaware that this item was being sent to me.I did go online and initiate an order but thought I cancelled it in that I was able to buy the item locally. I have since returned the crown stops and just waiting for some indication my account has been credited.

I picked up these for some crown work but the crown molding we chose is so small the these were not required. could have saved myself a couple of bucks but maybe I will find another use for them.

If you reckon that you really need these things then you probably need more skills not more tools. I found them to be awkward to work with (especially when working with several moldings at once) and completely unnecessary.

DeWalt makes a valuable and very useful tool when you take on the challenge of installing crown moulding. A must have tool.

I was having distress cutting miters with wide crown moulding. This product held the moulding to a consistent enough, repeatable distance so I could end up with a professional job. Had to add another hole to increase the distance to hold the extra wide crown moulding, this was done simple enough though. Excellent product!
